David H. Lindeman

 

David H. Lindeman is Director of Cooperative Grants Programs at the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF).   Mr. Lindeman joined the CRDF at its establishment in 1995, and currently oversees CRDF's main grantmaking programs for scientific research between the U.S. and former Soviet Union, as well as associated proposal development programs and special competitions.  Prior to joining CRDF, Mr. Lindeman was a Program Officer at the International Science Foundation established by financier George Soros, where he supervised review of research grant proposals from the former Soviet Union. Mr. Lindeman holds an M.A. in Russian and East European Studies from Georgetown University and  B.A. in History from Wesleyan University.
