My
suggestion is to set up a project as to seedthe clouds with "desert origin
dust" as to initiate the algae bloom over the Black Sea or Caspian Sea.
The idea based on the original idea of John H. Martin where he suggested to seed
the oceans with iron as to enhance the algae growth This sort of experiments
have been tested many times and proven to be successful. Following our June
2002 publication at GRL now we have to seed the clouds and raise the platform. Enhancing the algae blooms will eventually
help to increase the fish stocks hence enhancing the sustainable fishing for
the entire region.
The
proposal is simple and it involves seeding of the clouds with "desert dust" and let the nature
to take care the rest of the matter. Of course it is not as easy as its written
but we have already made great
progress
and all is needed now it to seek the potential research funders and natural
participants located at and around the Black and Caspian seas. The positive
outcome of the project, for sure, will have a global implications.
